Is this a good connection to make between all the books weve read this year: They all show societal influences and demonstrate what society was like at that time. The writing clearly reflects the values and beliefes of the people of the time.

Brittany, I think that connection might be really the only connection, thus, the best. Revenge was sort of a theme for the first 3 but that ended with the 17th Century poetry. Outside of yours i can't think of any others

Religion certainly connects all the texts in one way or another.

Touché Flick, touché. But on the real though, if you got more, keep them coming.

Can anyone possibly give me a specific outline of the final exam...I really didn't understand what was on it except for the final essay...i mean do we have to ID quotes for hamlet and do other things of that nature?

Lazarow said the first part would be on Hamlet and the poetry we read both Sonnets and 17th century civil war poetry. The second part would be on I am Legend, that part will be an essay questions including two parts, the first demonstrating the reading and then we will have to apply it to some questions. The third part of the test will be the essay of comprehension for the whole year and to make a connection between all the readings for the whole year.
